“Rub-r-Art” is a new, emerging art form, in which the artist blends pieces of colored rubber and shades of rubber on a rubber mill, to achieve patterns of colors appealing to the artist’s eye. Next, squares of the blended rubber are molded at 300° degrees F into various shapes and forms. Presently the primary emphasis for this art form is a coaster that has been designed to hold an interchangeable printed medallion featuring images, logos or ad messages that are complemented by the colors of the coaster.
